textured finish that both looks good and is heard wearing.
Does the GamePOD GT2 come with steering wheel and pedals?
The GamePOD GT1 is sold without a steering wheel and pedals so you can customise your GamePOD by adding the wheel & pedals that most suit your requirements from our range of wheels.
That way your GamePOD is totally built around your requirements.
There are quite a few wheels on the market, but to be honest, most are rubbish (we have tested them all) so we only sell the wheels which we consider to be the best on the market.
The wheels we sell are supplied with a UK plug so if you buying from Europe or ROTW (Rest of the World) we recommend that you buy the wheel from your local supplier.

The wheels we sell are supplied with a UK plug so if you buying from Europe or ROTW (Rest of the World) we recommend that you buy the wheel from your local supplier.
Is the GamePod compatible with a PC or does it only work on the PS3 or Xbox?
The GamePOD GT1 is at the end of the day a piece of furniture and whether it will work with a certain platform
(PS2, PS3, PC or Xbox etc…) depends on the wheel you use.
So if you intend to use it for Xbox games then you need to buy an Xbox wheel
There are a few wheels on the market at the moment that boast that they will work on all platforms, but so far we have not been impressed enough to sell them on our website. You have heard of the phrase “jack of all trades and master none”.
The only wheel that does work with different platforms is the Logitech G25 wheel, as this works with PS2, PS3 & PC.
Is the GT1 upgradeable?
The GamePOD GT1 has been designed so it is fully upgradeable with a full range of accessories so you can customise
your GamePOD to suit your requirements.
So you can either buy the accessories you need at the time or add them at a later date.
What is the difference between dual shock and force feedback wheels?
Dual shock usually means that the wheel has two small vibrators that emulate the gaming conditions by vibrating the wheel.
There are usually two levels of vibration to represent different game scenarios, such as a rough road surface or when the car crashes etc...
Force feedback is the next stage up and offers a higher level of realism and a greater driving experience than the dual shock. It does this by using a large motor in the wheel to emulate the feedback you would get through a steering wheel of a real car. For example, when travelling on icy road conditions the steering wheel would go light, or would vibrate vigorously when travelling over rough terrain.
The force feedback wheel does help to increase the realism of driving games and makes the whole driving experience much more fun!
We recommend that if you buy a wheel it is Force Feedback and NOT dual shock as all games now have been designed to work with Force Feedback wheels. ALL the wheels we sell are full FORCE FEEDBACK.
We would definitely NOT recommend buying a piece of games console furniture that came integrated with a dual shock wheel as this wheel will be inferior and there will be no way of upgrading it!
Is the GamePod GT1 delivered fully built or flat pack?
The GamePOD GT1 will be delivered flat pack as this is the most cost effective way or delivering it.
It is very simple to put together and comes with the required tools such as allen keys etc…
What is the delivery cost for a GamePOD GT1?
The cost to deliver a GamePOD GT1 within UK mainland is £15 and £39 for most of Europe (road service)

Why does the GamePOD GT1 appear to be expensive?
It is true, there are some cheaper type alternatives on the market now.
But we believe the GamePOD is still the best on the market and feel it is very good value for money.
We have never aimed to be the cheapest as our aim has always to be the BEST!
The GamePOD has been designed by award winning British Designer Ashley Miles Dennis and has been developed in conjunction with top professional race drivers including British FIA World Touring Car Championship WORLD CHAMPION Andy Priaulx.
We believe in innovation NOT imitation and that is why the GamePOD is the ‘Original’ and still the best race furniture you can get for the home.
The GamePOD GT1 is manufactured in the UK and is made from laser cut steel making it both strong and robust.
I am 6’ 4” tall and my son is only 4’. Will the GamePod GT2 be able to adjust
to fit us both?
The GamePod GT2 is full adjustable and has been designed to accommodate both extremes so a small child of 4 foot to a large adult of 7 foot will fit!
The seat on the GamePod GT2 is fully adjustable back and forth on durable steel car runners. The pedal stopper is adjustable so the pedals can also be moved back and forth to suit different size requirements and the shelf is also fully adjustable in height.
The main seat adjustment can be made while sitting in the seat so you don’t have to keep getting out to adjust the frame. For most situations it is just a question of jumping in and pulling the seat lever and moving it to the desired location, which only takes a few seconds!
If I upgrade my wheel, will it fit on the GamePod GT2?
The GamePod GT2 has been designed with a large shelf so it can accommodate most wheels on the market. The shelf size is 450mm (17 ½ inches approx) and 200mm (8 inches approx) so these should be no problem fitting any new wheels which come along in the future!
Although it does have special location holes for the Logitech G25, Logitech G27 and Fanatec Porsche wheel, so you can bolt the wheel direct to the shelf.
Also, if you have the official Microsoft wireless Xbox360 wheel, it has special location holes to locate our unique location plate, making it solid and rigid when playing.
What options is the GamePOD GT2 available in?
The GamePODGT2 is available in three colours (blue, red and black) with a fabric seat and in black with a full black leather seat.
We also have available the Andy Priaulx ‘Special Edition’ GamePOD GT2 in the colours of his race car.
I have heard that some after market car seats are not fire retardant. Are the GamePODseats fire retardant?
This is true. Believe it or not, most aftermarket car seats are not fire retardant! This is why we have the GamePOD seat specially made in a CMHR (Combustion Modified High Resilience) foam to comply with BS4443 Furniture & Furnishings regulations.

Jason Bradbury, the presenter of the Channel 5 ‘The Gadget Show’ said that “Without doubt, the GamePOD is the best wheel and seat assembly in its class” I think this says it all.
Why don’t you have a land line number?
As we are at GamePOD events quite a lot (some overseas) we have found that having a land line is not that practical,
whereas we always take our laptops everywhere we go so we are able to also answer emails when we are away.
So this has proved a far faster and therefore a more efficient way of responding to customer enquiries.
Can we collect our GamePOD order?
Yes you are more than welcome to collect your order. All we ask is that you let us know so we can make
sure you order is in stock and that we are available on that date.
Why do people put pineapple chunks on pizzas?
To be honest we have no idea why people think that pineapple chunks on a pizza is a good idea. We blame America for that :o)
